it's been ages..
It's been ages since i've posted, but then..doesn't seem like anything noteworthy has been happening. Today i find myself having one job :D. I decided a couple weeks ago to quit my second job after 12 yrs. It seemed like i didn't have time for myself or anyone else. In the last year i've got my debt cut down to a managable level *WOOT*, so now it's time to take a little time for me. Just hoping that I don't get too downcast from the free time. Typically I don't deal with free time well thus, I usually keep 2 jobs to keep me busy. It just felt like the time to do it.

bad week, blackmore's night and booty call......
*yeah, i know..haven't posted in ages*
this week has been really stressful!! just glad i got to see everyone at Mabon, it helped soo much, don't know how i'd have coped without the effect being around everyone in the group has on me.
*quick breakdown*
monday: extra nite at WM, inventory prep...inventory tuesday...so, we had to get everything tidyed up and in order for them to count. didn't really mind considering the extra day factors in as all overtime for the week :D
tuesday:....inventory. went really well, for anyone versed in the percentages, we got a .19 WONDERFUL inventory...hehe...alas, things went down from there...had a 1655 GM truck and a 400 pc remix truck....and *insert drum roll* 1 stocker...yep, one stocker, and she is pregnant..so, no lifting......OYE got all but 4 dept done.
wed: 1150 pc GM truck, 350 pc remix truck....and again one stocker *B*...of all people, but...at least he could throw freight...got all but 1 dept done. on a positive note, found out that my vacation for october that i requested 2 months ago finally got approved, as well as the personal day i had asked for on Samhain.
thurs: got home from work, took a shower and crashed *without meaning to* directly aftwards, got a phone call that woke me at 1:30...seems my lil' goth guy was thinking of me and was thinking of coming over...was definitly the pick-me-up i needed considering how things had started this week. went online and bought tickets for the Blackmore's Night concert in charlotte NC during my vacation :D *WOOT* and then found out that Spiral Rhythm is performing 2 days later just North of Orlando, so thinking about doing the full roadtrip...Gwen my ex roomie was planning on going with, but right now it's up in the air...so, might have an extra ticket...who knows...to be seen..*sighs*
fri:...trying to relax, have a 1900 pc truck tonight with a 700 pc remix truck...should have 4 stockers *crosses fingers*...if all goes well...
anyway...off of here, and off to bed

Annnnnnnnnnd....the catch-up
Hey everyone in LJland, I haven't publicly posted in *rubs chin* a few eons..i know...but most of what i've posted privately would probably be a bit much of the "woe is me".. summation: work stress..too much to do, to few bodies to get it done.
anyway...
*thinks* where to begin...
The lil' romance i had going a few months ago is no longer..we're now co-workers again *if everything else didn't end it...that one would* but, we still talk and remain friendly...always a plus. But one has to wonder WTF..now he's Christian and straight? OYE... enough on that one..lol
Been keeping things going, and on track with my faith. VERY glad the group is back together. When i used to be solitary, could never fathom doing group work...now, seems to be missing something if i'm not. *yes, nighteyes..i rememeber..i still owe ya a paper..hehe...been gathering a few things for it, but it won't be a massive project, will try to keep it a page or so* :D
also, glad S. from the group is now one of my co-workers :D...'tis nice to have another friendly pagan about...'specially on my shift.
now..one of the reasons i really wanted to post...*a personal post i don't mind sharing*
I went to my parent's house yesterday. It was the first time i've been there in about a year and a half...they are here in town about every week...so, i never go there.. i think the last time i went was the day after Samhain the year before last...with Calliope. *thinks...get back on topic*...
Anyway, while i was there i decided to go walking in their woods..i hadn't been through them in probably 5 years or so. There was one particular place i wanted to visit. magickalmom, i have to draw your attention to this one....without you i probably wouldn't have felt the need to go. *during our group meditation that you did a couple years ago....the area that i ended up in reminded me of a clearing within the woods. i still do the astral temple meditation, and the area has altered and become more the area of the woods..but different from what i remembered. so, i wanted to visit it.* About halfway through the woods i heard something stopped and looked to my left. It was a stag. He was about 20 feet from me! He had walked around a tree to face me, stopped, spent a moment to look at me, then turned and walked away. My heart was racing. He was beautiful! I took this as a sign that my visit was welcomed, and perhaps that it was perhaps requested. I continued on my journey, played with a couple of butterflies along the way *one of which followed me about a quarter of my journey*. I had to cross a small creek to get to my goal...and avoid the muddy banks as i did. As i walked over the hill that used to lead to a pond, i had a bit of a sinking feeling, because the pond was no longer there *it amazes me how such things can happen*..but then, EXHILARATION!! as i walked out over where the pond was and looked around...i realized this was the field in my meditation...i'd always seen it as a field, though, i knew it to in actuality to be a pond...and as i turned toward the area the clearing occupied, i saw it much as i'd been visualizing it. i was awestruck. so i spent a few minutes looking around, pretty much relaxing before heading back. when i did, i got to the creek i had to cross back over, looked down to make sure *for the second time that i didn't step in the mud* when i noticed a fresh footprint in the mud...apparently the stag passed there after i crossed some 15 minutes earlier.
It was a wonderful experience! i'd not been able to get out into nature like that for way too long, and needed the lil' trek.
well, enough for now...perhaps another public post in the near future..lol

well, today continued my latest saga...and, still don't know anymore than i did, unless perhaps that the boy can truely be a sweetheart, and that i am waaaaay fucking to anylitical.
got an im saying he would be over to pick up his mp3 player he left here the other night. when he showed up, he'd brought breakfast with him *squeeee sweetness* we talked, and all was well...*and, this time we both managed to be perfect gentleman during the visit...still trying to decide if this was a good thing or not...LOL*
he checked out his myspace acct, and noticed my that i'd blogged on there..*he doesn't know about this acct *wipes forehead* :)..hehe anyway, he read the two poems i'd written about him. he said they were good, but he stared at them after reading them and didn't comment further. now, i'm wondering if what made him stare... but, me being me, and back in my *Yes, i'm a cancer* state of mind...i didn't ask. but, noticed it was the last of each he stared at.. granted, they aren't my typical gloom and doom poetry but, have to admit that they are realistic.
it's easy for me to give my heart away, but, i so don't wanna let him know he has it in his reigns. and, i don't know whether it's a good thing that he thinks that i think that this is a temp situation. but, i know him well enough to realize it most likely is..even though i hope it isn't.

WTF!?!
g'morning readers...just posting this as more of a note to myself, but..more than welcome to read if you wish..lol
I don't know what the fuck is going on in my life right now.. these words usually stem from a sense of depression, or some event that has caused some turmoil. well, turmoil..yes, but not bad..or at least not yet..waiting for the hammer to drop on that.
last week for several reasons was GREAT, no complaints at all. The weekend sucked because of work, but i've gotten accustom to that, one night had 2300 pcs of freight, and 3 stockers.. OYE!! needless to say, didn't all get done...so the next night had to deal with almost the same amount, but had 6 stockers...we played catchup and got through it...and of course...monday night..no truck and 6 stockers...*sighs*...that's the way it goes..hehe
now to the turmoil...MEN..specifically one..OMG's. what am i gonna do.. I freaked out about last week a lil'..but maintained a sense of calm the best i could. Tried to not overanalyze things like i always do...and did fairly well with that one too...then, last night...things meshed between us...he came over around 11 last night and just now left. had a UNBELIEVABLE night/morning! his romantic/flirty/caring side was in overdrive. There was cuddling *SIGHS* someone that cuddles..and, i love the fact that i can still smell the smell of him from when he was pressed next to me cuddling. as several of my friends and readers might say *and it's about the only thing i can think of to cover it* SQUEEEEEE
things are so dreamlike, waiting for the wake up call...he has brought a side of myself out that i thought was long gone...don't know where this is going, or if, or if it's just a fun lil' way to kill some time for them. things are going better on a communication level than they have in ages, things are going better on other levels better than they ever have. guess now i just have to wait to see where we end up. where ever that is, one thing holds true to part of the poem i wrote and posted last week.. i have to vow, and keep the vow that i'm gonna keep my heart intact.

last night was a night of inspiration at work..felt the need to write!!, so..a brief poem for all my readers *granted, has the basic feel, but think i still need a lil' revision to it*. kinda sums my day up yesterday *for those in the know* :)
In the twilight morning

this week's wrap up
the week went pretty good, the other member of mgt that's usually there with me on thirds was on vacation :) and the crew did a wonderful job of keeping up with the freight flow.
wed was fugly!! for the whole day, i thought it was thurs, therefore instead of going to bed at 10a like i usually do on wed, i decided to stay up til 2 like i do on thursdays...then, someone popped online that i hadn't talked to in a while, so, thought wtf, an hour of sleeploss won't kill me, so stayed up til 3 chatting with him. then, noticed that it was in fact WED..OYE long story short, i ended up with 2.5 hrs sleep before the 12 hrs shift at WM. the blessing was that there wasn't a truck
thurs at max, i got to meet the frontman for the band ZMR seemed to be rather nice :)...and hopefully my instructions to nashville didn't find them further lost along the way..lol
fri, VERY uneventful except for the fact that i got the phone call from tim...saying that he's gonna be down mon or tues :D...now, to see if he actually shows....
sat.... my vacation from both jobs started :D..and i got served a subpoena. apparently some dipshit that the police busted at WM is denying that he did anything wrong..and, since i was the one that originally called the po po on him..i get to go to court..lol
the rest of the day has been SLEEP...oh blessed sleep that i've missed sooooo long.
just trying to figure out when and what i'm gonna do on my vac..hehe...so, if there are any of you readers that have the spare day...gimme a yell :)

X-3, clarksvegas, kiva and...*go figure*... a meme..LOL
I know...I know...i haven't posted in ages...:P
tonight was Wonderful :D actually got out of the house, out of town and had a blast. Went to Clarksvegas and met up with Kiva for X-men 3 The Final Stand. I'll give it 4 stars...*listed as follows*:
1. it's comic based..and yes, i'm a comic geek..heh
2. X-men...fav book
3. good story, but...parts *as in all book/comic book based movies* didn't quite go with the comic....*won't elaborate so as not to spoil for anyone else*
4. Special Effects were FUCKING AWESOME :D
Realized something and tried to explain it to her...*you'd have to be familiar with stargate to get this one..* felt the same thing i feel with the expecting couple and the lil' bro...it's a bizarre feeling of completion when i get together with the other members of the group. *and yes, if you have to ask about the group..then, you really don't need to know about the group.* it's like the chevron's locking into place on the stargate.....there is randomness...openness, then..suddenly...*CLICK* a grounded feeling...a bonding. a feeling i miss from not being around the others, and now...it seems they are scattering to the 4 winds..*sighs*..subject change, or it's gonna be less of a lighthearted post..lol
afterward...went to IHOP...no, not IHOL for anyone who'd get the joke *smirk* and chatted for a couple hrs. was great to see her again and catch up. Think both of us enjoyed the chance to do it and get a few things off of our chests...
one thing that i wanted to mention but neglected to...i hope the lord and lady watch over her path, no matter which she chooses. and...i hope she realizes *as i sooo often forget* that every road gives you the same chance of happiness or heartbreak as the next. you just have to look for the potholes before you slam into one.
and, i think we both realized *snicker* that though we have drama in our lives...*IHOP reference* there are people out there that have soooo much more in theirs...LOL
